Police have identified the Riverdale teen who was killed after crashing into a wooded area in Maryland on Friday morning, Feb. 23.
The crash occurred on the 7900 block of Kenilworth Avenue in Greenbelt around 8:40 a.m.
Erson Cruz, 17, was driving southbound when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a patch of woods. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is being led by the Prince George’s County Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
